 February - Movie Day - Indiana Theater

On Tuesday, February 24th Our Lady of Hope – Young at Heart group joined seniors from several other community churches for the showing of the movie “I Can Only Image 2” at the Indiana Theater in Washington. In total nearly 100 seniors participated in this event. All in attendance felt it was a great outing. 


Russ Jordan, owner of the Indiana Theater, felt this event was very successful and offered to host the group monthly on the 4th Tuesday at 2:00 pm.

Movie - "Gone with the Wind"

On Tuesday, March 24th Our Lady of Hope – Young at Heart members joined seniors from several other community churches now called the Silver Screen Society for the showing of the movie “Gone with the Wind” at the Indiana Theater in Washington. In total nearly 80 seniors participated in this event.


 March - Tour Red Skelton Museum, Musical Performance, and Lunch

March 26 - Arrival 10:00 am

On Thursday, March 26th, 33 members of the Our Lady of Hope - Young at Heart Ministry traveled to the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center located on the campus of Vincennes University.  The group toured the Red Skelton Museum and Performing Arts Center.  The group was treated to some great musical entertainment from a VU choir and by the VU Jazz Band.  Following the entertainment, the group had lunch in the Red Skelton Gallery.  The group had the opportunity to view numerous original oil paints by Red Skelton in the gallery before departing.
