We had a great troop meeting and started sorting through all of the things we will need to get going in August. We plan to speak at some of the masses and have an Open House where folks can come by and ask questions and find out how to get involved/signup. This is a very exciting time in our parish as there has never been any kind of scouting/adventuring program at Our Lady of Hope or at any Catholic church in Daviess County. We are hopeful that the diocese will eventually open registration to all boys in the area as our dream is to give every boy a chance to learn and participate in Trail Life whether they are Catholic or not. But for now, registration will only be possible for registered parishioners of Our Lady of Hope and it's students.
I'll keep posting stuff here as often as I can to keep everyone informed as the goings-on around our new Troop!
