  Join us on Sunday, October 8th at 10:00 am at the Eastside Park for an Outdoor Mass. Mass will be on the bandstand with a fellowship dinner immediately following in the Community Building. Meat, drinks and table service will be provided. Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert. Enjoy music with The St. John's Folk Group; also, free wagon and train rides. Rain or shine! Mass will be held in the Community Building in the event of rain.

• The Sacraments and Why They Matter

  The Sacraments and Why They Matter: Andrew Thomas and Deacon Stephen Elser, the seminarians from St. Meinrad, will begin teaching a class on the Sacraments starting October 11th. They will have 2 sessions, one at 5:30pm in English and one at 7:00pm in Spanish. All are welcome to come and learn more about our faith. Please sign up in the back of Church. The first session will be about Baptism and the making of a Christian.
  
  The Sacraments and Why they Matter. Deacon Stephen Elser and Andrew Thomas will be teaching a Sacraments Class on Confirmation Wednesday the 18th at 5:30pm for English Speaking Adults. It will be in the library of the high school. At 7:00pm there will be a Class for Spanish Speaking Adults in the Cafeteria.

  FIFTH GRADE LIVING ROSARY
  The fifth grade class will take part in a Living Rosary at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 17, at 6:15 P.M. immediately following the Tuesday evening Mass. Please come and join them in prayer. This will only last one half hour and will be prayed for especially for peace in our world.
